This is its original design for quick replacement. The reformer folds easily for storage. The ABS plastic is sturdy and attractive and won’t break in normal use. We have sold this for seven years with no related damage complaints. We previously offered the stainless steel shoulder rest option, but you selected this cost-effective model for your own reasons.We noticed the rusted spring. Only one spring out of your two reformers has this rare issue. The cargo was at sea for two months. Our solution: we will send a replacement spring. We are investigating the cause. Damp accessories you purchased separately may have rubbed against it and caused rust. We are just checking the cause, not shifting responsibility, and we will fix this for you.
